Evolve Discipleship: Faith Foundations Pt 2

Faith Foundations Pt II is Evolve’s Discipleship Course further unpacking the identity of a believer in Christ. Over the span of 12 weeks, participants are immersed deeper into God’s word, challenging the way the see the world, God, and themselves while also building community with other believers through small groups. Following the final exam in week 11, a completion ceremony will be held the following Saturday.

Classes & small groups: Thursdays 6:00pm – 7:00pm

Class attendance expectation:

In person attendance is NOT mandatory for those that prefer in person participation! Each class is hosted in person but participants are able to watch the prerecorded sessions virtually made available weekly for each course. Whether you plan to make the majority of classes in person or watch them virtually, please indicate in the survey your small group preference (in person or small group) as it will help planning for the class

Small Group attendance expectation: 

Small group participation is a mandatory component for discipleship course credit at Evolve and will be a part of the course grade. This is an added layer to discipleship in 2025 and invites deeper understanding and community building for all participants around teachings from the prior week.

With only 5 small group sessions in the course, we strongly encourage participants to make them all. However, we understand life happens and this may not always be possible. Two small groups absences are allowed as long as they are communicated prior with your designated small group leader(s).

Coursework expectation:

Discipleship coursework will be assigned biweekly at the end of each course session and must be submitted on time for full credit.
